The TestNow dashboard (hivnext.org/legacy/testnow/) shows totals about HIV self-test kit orders to authorised program staff. It is run by the HIVnext team at the Malaysian AIDS Foundation and Malaysian AIDS Council (MAF/MAC). It is not for the general public, and it is not the TestNow website where people order kits.
Who can use it
Only people whose Google account email address has been added to an access list by the dashboard administrators. Each person sees only the state, region or national figures they have been given access to.
What we collect from people who sign in
- Your Google account email address. Google sends it to us when you sign in, so we can check it against the access list. We do not receive your password, contacts, files or any other Google account information.
- An access log. Each time the dashboard is opened we record the time, the email address, which view was requested (for example, one state) and the result (allowed or refused).
Why
Only to decide who may see which figures, to keep the dashboard secure, and to review who has used it. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell it or share it with anyone outside the people who run the dashboard.
What the dashboard shows
Totals and percentages only, such as the number of kits ordered in a month or the share of results submitted. It does not show, and your browser never receives, names, phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses or individual order records. Small numbers (1 to 4) are hidden so that no individual can be picked out. The figures are prepared from a private working copy of the order data in which direct identifiers have been removed and order numbers have been replaced by codes.
Cookies and your browser
The dashboard page does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser. Google provides the sign-in, and Google’s own privacy policy applies to it (policies.google.com/privacy).
Other services involved
- Google (sign-in, and the Google Sheets and Apps Script services that hold and serve the figures).
- GitHub Pages, which hosts this website.
- Google Fonts and public content delivery networks (cdnjs and jsDelivr), from which the page loads its fonts and charting code. As with any website, these services can see your internet address when the page loads.
How long we keep the access log
Only as long as it is needed to keep the dashboard secure and to review its use. Access-log entries are seen only by the dashboard administrators.
Questions, or to have your access removed
Email hivnext@myaids.org.my. We can remove your email address from the access list at any time.
If this notice changes, the date at the top will change with it.
